We are able to accept payments for Religious Education through our online giving platform, WeShare.
General Religious Education information: In-Person on Sunday mornings for all grades. Preparation for the sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation are each a two year process.
Class schedules and other Religious Education announcements are published in the bulletin. If you would like more information, call the Rel. Ed. office at (570) 848-1258.
Sacramental Classes: This includes the celebrations of Reconciliation, Eucharist, and Confirmation. For all sacraments, parents/guardians must register with the parish. For each of the sacraments that your children will receive, there will be instructions for the parent(s)/guardians. Each year the programs are updated and renewed so it is important that you make plans to attend these sessions. R.C.I.A. for Adults: Father Muldowney conducts the R.C.I.A. process which runs year round. These sessions are for those who desire to become members of our faith….some were raised in other faith traditions and others were raised without any tradition at all. Please know that all are welcome to join us. For information, please contact Father Muldowney at (570) 842-4561.
R.C.I.A. for Children: Grades 3-8, to complete their reception into the full communion with the Catholic Church by preparing for the sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, and Eucharist. For information, please contact the Religious Ed. office at (570) 848-1258.
